Division of Support Operations
Green Schools and Sustainability
The District is committed to modeling environmental stewardship, wisely managing the use of natural resources, and supporting conservation. We strive to:
- reduce the use of energy, water, and other natural resources
- encourage waste reduction, reuse, and recycling whenever possible
- educate students, teachers, administrators, and staff about the importance of conservation and environmental stewardship
- provide the resources and support to help schools and other District facilities "green" their practices
