2012 Exam Changes

The new year brings new testing changes - including Electronic Score Reporting. Check the testing company FTCE website often for important testing information & updates.

  

Info Sessions

Sessions are offered the third Thursday of the month at 9:00 am in the Certification office A-152. 

Information includes steps on how to obtain a teaching certificate.  Attendees should hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an area outside of education.

The Certification Office assists both prospective and veteran teachers of the School District of Palm Beach County in matters related to obtaining and maintaining a Florida Educator's Certificate.

  

Through our partnership with the Florida Department of Education (DOE), our office provides many DOE services at the District level.

  

  

The Highly Qualified Standards Office advises teachers and schools on issues pertaining to compliance with the Highly Qualified requirements of the
No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB).

  

Palm Beach County hires only Highly Qualified teachers.
