Cognitive Coaching![]()
Cognitive Coaching
is a set of strategies, a way of thinking and a way of working that invite self and others to shape and reshape their thinking and problem solving capacities. The coach uses various tools, skills, and maps to invite self-directedness and promote:
- Precise planning
- Deeper reflecting
- Problem resolution
Cognitive Coaching
is a valuable tool for administrators, supervisors, teachers, coaches, mentors, and even students.
During the interactive, 8-day Cognitive Coaching Foundation Seminar®, participants learn and practice new skills, integrate existing ones, and explore various applications. The seminar, which is provided by the Prevention Center in the Department of Safe Schools, is open to all district employees.
