FEDERAL, STATE, AND PRIVATE SECTOR GRANTS

The Division has a variety of resources for schools or departments who need assistance in the grant writing process. 

In order to ensure that the District is aware of all grants being awarded to its schools and departments, the Division of Grants Administration and School Reform Accountability has created a database of all grants awarded to the District over $10,000.  

For grants under $10,000, the procedure is to gain approval of the principal and appropriate Area Office or department head.  In this case, you do not need to forward a copy to the Division of Grants Administration and School Reform Accountability.

For grants over $10,000, schools and departments need to use the following process:

  

  1. Complete Form PBSD 2339 Grant Proposal Information (available soon) and send to Division of Grants Administration FHESC C-201
  2. Send a copy of entire grant to the Division of Grants Administration FHESC C-201
  3. When grant has been awarded, follow procedures to put on the next School Board Meeting Agenda
