The Mission of ABE
ABE provides instruction
in the basic skills of reading, writing, and mathematics
to adult learners in order to prepare them for transitioning
into the labor market or higher academic or vocational training.
ABE provides basic literacy
and life skills for adults who perform at or below the eighth
grade level.
ABE:

ABE programs provide
instruction in basic academic skills and GED preparation. Adult education classes will
help you improve your reading, writing and math skills
to improve your quality of life and help you advance
in your education or occupation.
