Family Literacy programs work to enhance
children’s school readiness and parents’ efforts to support
their children’s development and learning.
Family Literacy builds on the following
endeavors:

Age-appropriate education services to prepare children
for success in school and life experiences.

Interactive literacy activities between parents and
children (PACT).

Training for parents in being the primary teacher
for their children and full partners in the education
of their children.
