IN THE NEWS... PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLAR CANDIDATES Five Palm Beach County seniors have been named candidates in the 2010 Presidential Scholars Program. The candidates were selected from nearly 2.8 million students expected to graduate from United States High Schools in the year 2010. Presidential Scholars are selected on the basis of superior academic and artistic achievements, leadership qualities, strong character, and involvement in community and school activities. The students are: Jonathan Cuba, Dreyfoos School of the Arts Nina Laufbahn, Dreyfoos School of the Arts Mike Qian, Atlantic High School Minna Song, Suncoast High School Harrison Tyler, Dreyfoos School of the Arts THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF PALM BEACH COUNTY 2010 TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE: BUILDING A CONNECTED LEARNING COMMUNITY We are proud to announce that the 2010 Technology Conference will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010 at Santaluces Community High School.
