SDPBC-Scholastic Enterprise Edition Software Support

Palm Beach County's implementation of Scholastic Enterprise Edition consists of five different software programs: Reading Counts!, SRI, READ 180, FASTT Math and Scholastic Achievement Manager (SAM).

All School District of Palm Beach County schools are licensed for Reading Counts, SRI and SAM. All middle schools, most alternative schools and a few other select schools are licensed for READ 180. About 80 elementary sites have FASTT Math.

Scholastic Achivement Manager The Scholastic Achievement Manager, SAM, is the learning management system for the Enterprise Edition Suite.  SAM collects and organizes performance data students generate while using the Scholastic programs.  SAM allows teachers and administrators to understand and implement data-driven instruction.

SRI
Scholastic Reading Inventory (SRI) helps educators assess student reading levels and monitor reading progress. SRI will help you identify struggling readers, plan for instruction, gauge the effectiveness of your curriculum, and demonstrate accountability. Includes SRI testing dates.

Reading Counts!
Motivate readers! Reading Counts! begins with great books! Students read fiction, nonfiction, and curriculum-connected books based on their interests and Lexile® level. Students then take a computer-generated quiz to test their comprehension. Hundreds of unique quizzes can be generated for each title.

READ 180
READ 180‘s adaptive, instructional software provides intensive, differentiated skills practice to motivate struggling readers. The software analyzes, monitors, tracks, and reports on student accuracy, noting not only incorrect answers, but also the types of errors made and the time of the response. According to how the student performs, the software continually adjusts instruction offering students immediate feedback.

FASTT Math
FASTT Math software uses research-validated methods to help struggling students in grades 2 and up develop fluency with basic math facts in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Using the FASTT system (Fluency and Automaticity through Systematic Teaching with Technology), the software assesses students and then provides a continuously adaptive instruction and practice.

Scholastic Math Inventory (SMI) Scholastic Math Inventory™ (SMI) is a research-based, computer-adaptive math assessment program that measures math understanding on The Quantile Framework® for Mathematics. The most powerful feature of SMI is its ability to administer fast and reliable low-stakes assessment to inform instruction and make accurate placement recommendations. Aligned to the Common Core State Standards, SMI helps educators forecast student achievement to those important goals.
