Green Schools Recognition Program
The Green Schools Recognition Program (GSRP) encourages cultures of sustainability within school communities. This program recognizes schools for taking a holistic approach to going green that incorporates school ground enhancement, resource conservation, curriculum connections, and community involvement with a school wide commitment and focus on sustainability.
The GSRP is an initiative of the FAU Pine Jog Environmental Education Center in collaboration with the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties and the Environment Endowment Fund of the Community Foundation.
The School District of Palm Beach County is a proud supporter and participant in the GSRP. To read about their many accomplishments, go here.

All of the participants from the 2008-2009 Green Schools Recognition Program enjoyed a catered luncheon at the Community Foundation's beautiful downtown WPB facility.
