The Division of Facilities Management is comprised of many dedicated departments. These include: |

Planning Department: Facilitates the preparation of the 5-Year Capital Plan, assists with the development of school boundaries, administers the Address Verification Policy and School Concurrency, develops GIS/Maps and pursues grants. |
Real Estate Services: Responsible for the acquisition of land needed for new schools, modernizations and additions, and ancillary and support facilities; leasing of School District property and other properties for School District use; |

Project Controls: The Department of Project Controls provides support to the Division of Facilities Management to ensure the School District that all work on projects is being performed within the boundaries of cost, schedule, and scope |
Program Management: Major Projects: Administers the design and construction of new, modernized, and/or replacement schools, additions and other Capital Improvements of existing facilities. |

Building Department: Provides annual fire safety and comprehensive safety and inspections / reports (CSIR) for all schools and District facilities. Reviews construction plans and specifications to ensure building and fire code compliance. |
Facilities Services: Facilities Services: Executes the work program for the general maintenance and repair of 186 existing District facilities utilizing a prioritized work order system. Primary activities include operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, basic grounds care, custodial training, relocatable classrooms, and the building envelope. |

Environmental Control Office: Ensures that the School District maintains compliance with environmental regulations and assists the District with environmental, health, and safety issues, acting in the roles of regulator, educator and consultant. Provides leadership for sustainability and green schools initiatives. |
