Summer Reading @ Your Public Library

Go on The Library Mystery Tour at the West Palm Beach Public Library. Sign up begins June 14, 2010.

The City Library is a destination in itself. Visit them at 411 Clematis Street.

The Palm Beach County Library announces their "Make a Splash" reading program. Find out about the Children's Programing and ask about the LAMP- Library Adventure Museum Pass available when you visit the Youth Services desk at the Palm Beach County Library. Join the Teen Reading Frenzy for ages 12 to 16 and earn free baseball tickets. There is something for everyone at your local branch of the Palm Beach County Library!

Lots of summer reading ideas on the Library of Congress Kids page. Read classic books online. Find a book title to tackle on the Booklists

The most interesting resource on the page is The Exquisite Corpse Adventure. This story was begun by Jon Scieszka and is being continued by other authors in installments over a years time. So far they are up to Episode 17. You can read plain text, hear the audio book or flip through an electronic interactive book.

Borders and Waldenbooks book stores are offering students 12 years and under an opportunity to get a free book just for reading 10 books this summer. List the titles of the books on the form and bring it to any of their stores.

Summer Reading @ TD Bank

TD Bank again is offering children 18 years and younger an opportunity to earn $10. This money will be deposited into any new or existing Young Saver account. Just read 10 books, list the titles on the form, and bring it to your nearest TD Bank.
