Resume Attachments: New applicants should apply with a resume and will be prompted to do so after clicking Apply Now. Existing applicants, who have applied prior to March 20, 2012, should upload a new resume after March 20, 2012. Once a new resume is uploaded, you will be able to attach the existing resume to future applications. Resumes submitted with applications prior to March 20, 2012 may be found in the Cover Letters & Attachments section of My Career Tools. All new and returning applicants are encouraged to upload and apply with a resume when prompted within the application.
Documentation Required for Employment
In addition to an active application, the following forms are required following a job offer. You may begin completing this paperwork once you have applied to a position and have an applicant identification number.
All applicants must complete and sign this form as part of the hiring process. Original Security Check Forms should be submitted to Recruitment and Retention A-132 (No faxes or copies).
New applicants must submit a minimum of three references to complete the hiring process. References should reflect employment for the last 5 years and must be completed by supervisor(s). Applicants with limited work experience may supplement their work reference with personal references. References from relatives are not acceptable. If you are currently in school/college, you may provide references from professors/instructors in addition to employment supervisor references.
Applicants completing student teaching must submit references from 1) clinical educator(s)/supervising teacher, 2) university supervisor, 3) school assistant principal and/or principal, and 4) as well as supervisor references covering employment for the last five years.
References should include applicant id number, signature with date, of applicant and evaluator.
New Employee Orientation Forms (Online)
These forms are only available after receiving a job offer. Upon receiving a formal job offer, you are requested to complete the New Employee Orientation Forms (NEO) within the online application. Log into the application and click the link within the "Notifications" box. This box and link is only available after the school has offered a position.
This form is to be completed only if you are currently, or have been, self-employed during the last five years. In addition, reference forms from those listed on the Self Employment Form must be completed using the Palm Beach County School District Employment Reference Form.

If you have an advanced degree (Master's, Specialist, Doctorate) that you would like considered for a supplement, please submit the Advanced Degree Pay and Supplement Request for Instructional Employees {Form PBSD2277}.
Please note: Only qualifying degrees will be approved for the supplement. For more information, please visit the Department of Compensation web site and review the Advanced Degree Pay brochure.
If you have professional teaching experience and would like it to be considered for compensation purposes, each previous employer must complete and submit the Verification of Previous Public/Private Teaching Experience form.
Non-Instructional
Non-instructional applicants should only apply to jobs for which they qualify. The job description and qualifications vary by job type. It is advised that you have official documents, such as diplomas, certifications, and transcripts ready when applying for a job.
