eLibrary You can find more than 2,000 full-text magazines, newspapers, reference books, and transcripts-plus thousands of pictures, maps, and educator-approved websites at eLibrary Curriculum. eLibrary Science eLibrary Science allows you to explore thousands of full-text and multimedia files for research and to help you understand concepts in science. Teachers can use the service to find engaging science materials, lessons, and activities for students.
Florida Electric Library Florida Electronic Library is a gateway to: electronic magazines, newspapers, almanacs, encyclopedias and books, and the Ask a Librarian reference service.
Internet Public Library Internet Public Library Teenspace is a great place to get help on writing research papers, to get homework help, and for finding information about a variety of topics.

CiteMe

CiteMe is a Facebook application that you can use from home. The service lets you search the world's largest library catalog by title, author, subject, or ISBN and get properly formatted citations in APA, Chicago, Harvard, MLA, or Turabian style.

EasyBib allows you to create citations for online resources such as news articles, blog entries, and more. Just paste in the URL and the service will automatically create citations in APA, Chicago/Turabian, and MLA styles.
Grammarly Handbook The Grammarly Handbook offers a quick reference on English Grammar rules, punctuation, spelling, research and citation specifications, and more.

Khan Academy With a library of over 2,700 videos covering everything from arithmetic to physics, finance, and history and 240 practice exercises, Khan Academy is on a mission to help you learn what you want, when you want, and at your own pace.
Discovery Education knows that everyone has trouble with their homework from time to time. Whether it's earth science or subtraction, past presidents or punctuation, you can find help for all sorts of topics at Discovery Ed.
Destination Destination and Edmark House Series courseware are web-based programs that can be accessed from school or home. Currently, courses are available in Math for PreK-12, Reading for PreK-8, and Science, Social Studies, and Music for PreK-2 grade level abilities. 
Hippocampus Hippocampus has a huge collection of free video tutorials on topics that include math, social studies, science, the humanities and more. This is a great place to get a quick refresher or learn more about individual topics. (Some advertising will be displayed.)

BrainPOP Gameup offers all sorts of fun academic games that will help you brush up on what you know and introduce you to new ideas.
Pixlr Editor gives you all the power and features of an expensive image editor, but for free! Create a masterpiece from scratch, edit your own images, or use their express and automatic tools to create an awesome image with ease!
Wordle Wordle is a tool for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text and you can choose from any number of designs to illustrate your writing.
Prezi provides free accounts that you can use with your students to create truly fresh and innovative methods for creating presentations. Tired of PowerPoint? Give Prezi a try!
Mozilla popcorn maker Mozilla Popcorn Maker lets you pull in audio or video from sites like Youtube, and then add text, images, and other multimedia bits (like maps or Wikipedia summaries) to remix and enrich the source material.
Make Magazine Make Magazine covers science, technology, craft, and the pure pleasure of making stuff! MAKE outlines some seriously cool hands-on opportunities for kids.
Design Squad Nation Design Squad Nation complements the PBS Kids television show "Design Squad," in which teenagers compete to create the most novel solutions to engineering challenges. You are your friends can also accept the challenge and learn more about engineering, math, and technology.
Scratch With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations. Scratch helps you learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively while you learn about computer programming.
Thimble With Mozilla's Thimble website you can learn to build web pages by placing your code into an online editor and seeing the results side-by-side.

Multicultural Resources and Learning Activities

Resource Description
National Museum of African American History and Culture The National Museum of African American History and Culture will open in 2016 and be a place where all Americans can learn about the richness and diversity of the African American experience. The museum currently has a number of collections and resources worth exploring.
African American History The African American History website from the Library of Congress brings together resources from its collections and other government and museum resources. Be sure to see the Exhibit & Collections listing for a comprehensive list of resources for studying African American History.
Asian Art Museum The Asian Art Museum features dozens of excellent lesson plans, activities, and other classroom resources that provide a diverse look at Asian art and the influence of Asian culture.
BrainPOP Chinese features many of the same great lessons you find in the English language version, but translated for you. (You'll need to get the usernamen and password to be used from your teacher.)
BrainPOP Spanish BrainPOP en Español gives you the same great content as the English language BrainPOP, but with lessons delivered in Spanish.
brainpop Fraincais BrainPOP Francais provides a French version of BrainPOP content for students. This site is currently free while in its beta phase.
Duolingo Duolingo is a great application to help you learn other languages. You can download the application to your phone, your Android or iOS tablet, or explore at home on your own computer. This service requires a free account that you can setup with your parents' permission.
Worldbook Spanish Enciclopedia Estudiantil Hallazgos (WorldBook Spanish) gives you all the great content of the World Book Encyclopedia, but in Spanish.
LANIC The Latin American Network Information Center has resources for language, history, and geography classes, among others, as well as many for native speakers of Spanish and Portuguese. There is a vast range of resources on innumerable subjects that have to do with Latin culture and its place in our nation's history.
Smithsonian Education The History and Culture Collection of the Smithsonian Center provides learning activities that cover topics concerning our development as a nation and the many cultures that have influenced the growth our our nation.
Teaching Tolerance Teaching Tolerance is dedicated to reducing prejudice, improving intergroup relations and supporting equitable school experiences for our nation's children.
