With an Edline account parents have secure access to information about all of their child's classes including links to online textbooks and other resources not available to the general public. All parents of Palm Beach County school children are entitled to an Edline account. The School District of Palm Beach County provides a number of dynamic and engaging libraries of online animated and video multimedia for our students, parents, and teachers. All of the resources below are accessible in public schools, libraries, and community centers and may be used at home with some restrictions.

Moby from BrainPOPBrainPOP Family of Resources

BrainPOP creates animated, curriculum-based content that supports educators and engages students. Their online educational resources include BrainPOP Jr. (K-3), BrainPOP, BrainPOP Español, and the newly launched BrainPOP ESL. All are supported by BrainPOP Educators, which features free lesson plans, video tutorials, professional development tools, graphic organizers, and best practices for teacher use. Ideal for both group and one-on-one settings, BrainPOP is used in numerous ways, from introducing a new lesson or topic to illustrating complex subject matter to reviewing before a test. Content is aligned to state standards and easily searchable with our online State Standards Tool.

TumbleBooks are created by adding animation, sound, music and narration to existing picture books in order to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you. Individual Learning Resources

The resources listed below are primarily designed for individual learning that can be done at a pace that is customized to each student. These resources require an individual username and password for student access. In most cases this will be the student's 8-digit student number preceded by the letters "pb". FCAT ExplorerFCAT Explorer

FCAT Explorer is an internet-based tool designed to help Florida students in grades 3 to 11 pass the FCAT by focusing on mastery of the Sunshine State Standards through several interactive programs. Each student is given a unique username and password to access these programs, and schools in Florida often set aside time during the day to work specifically on FCAT Explorer.

RiverdeepRiverdeep Destination Series

Destination and Edmark House Series courseware are web-based programs that can be accessed from school or home. Currently, courses are available in Math for PreK-12, Reading for PreK-8, and Science, Social Studies, and Music for PreK-2 grade level abilities.

Gizmos loginExplore Learning Gizmos

Explore Learning Gizmos may be used as a whole class excessive or the activities may be completed by the student at their own pace. Username and passwords are created at the school level and may be obtained by the administrator in charge of Gizmos at your location.
