| Florida Educator Accomplished Practices
The Florida Educator Accomplished Practices (FEAPs) are the research-based knowledge and skills that all Florida teachers need to implement so that their students can master the skills determined by the Florida Sunshine State Standards.

| The Individual Professional Development Plan (IPDP) is a crucial starting point. The plan, which is a road map of support, highlights the areas in which the new educator needs to demonstrate competence. The school-based ESP Support Team collaborates to develop an individualized training program that focuses on the specific needs of the new educator.
| There are five required competencies to complete for the FEAP Portfolio: EAP # 2 EAP # 5 (Choice of Activity A or B)
| In addition to the five required FEAPs, it may be necessary for some new educators to demonstrate competence in other optional FEAPs. It is important to remember that the IPDP is tailored to the new educator's individual needs; it is not a "cookie cutter" program for all new educators in the school.
| The school-based mentor or AP (this is a school-based decision) uses the corresponding rubric as a guide to determine if the new educator has demonstrated the EAP. The new educator compiles a portfolio of his/her completed FEAP products and completed rubrics. These products become part of the ESP Portfolio. If the new educator leaves the school prior to completing the program, the incomplete portfolio is forwarded to the district ESP Contact, who will forward it to the new school. New educators must keep a copy of all the ESP documents.
