Project Controls
The Department of Project Controls provides support to the Division of Support Operations to ensure the School District that all work on projects is being performed within the boundaries of cost, schedule, and scope that was authorized by the School Board. Project Controls works with Facilities Services Program Management Group in an effort to perform this task. The Monitoring and Controlling Process performed by Project Controls consists of monitoring project construction managers for contract compliance and project performance. Project cost, schedule, status and variance reports are distributed to all stakeholders monthly. This allows management to identify potential problems and take corrective action when needed to keep the project on task. Project Controls also assists in the development of project budgets, data management, document control, and maintains the construction program information system PRISM.
