  • Mission Statement
    The mission of Chuck Shaw Technical Education Center is to provide a first-class career and technical learning environment, where students are inspired to acquire language and work skills to succeed in life.

    Our Focus
    The Chuck Shaw Technical Education Center is a performance-based school. Attendance is voluntary. The student population is comprised of approximately 2,000 adults. It is a diverse ethnic, multicultural and mobile population. New students take diagnostic tests before entering classes. Ongoing assessments help monitor each student's progress toward completion, certification and promotion from high school and the attainment of a GED.
