The Marketing Academy is designed to develop student skill sets in areas such as selling, economics, entrepreneurship, and management. This program will prepare students for higher education and entry into the competitive job market.

Marketing concepts will be developed as students acquire the skills necessary to earn jobs in our new economy. Students will have the opportunity to participate in marketing seminars with local business leaders as well as off-site learning opportunities.

Students will also join the Wellington High School DECA chapter, part of the largest student organization for preparing emerging student leaders and entrepreneurs for college and careers. Wellington DECA members have a strong reputation for success in interscholastic competitions at the District, State, and International levels.

All students applying for this program must meet the minimum eligibility criteria: 2.5 GPA
