The media program offers 21st century instruction and technology, as well as the latest print and electronic collections for all of our students, parents, and teachers. Our Media Center programs increase students' reading skills while fostering a love for reading, which is a fundamental part of academic growth and improvement. Our media programs enhance information literacy, motivating students to enjoy reading, and to make it an essential part of their lives.

The Woodlands Middle School Library Media Center is a learning hub committed to promoting respect, independent thinking, and individuality.
The Library Media Center is dedicated to maintaining a library media program that supports, complements, and expands the instructional program of the school.
The Library Media Center:
- Encourages pleasure reading and lifelong learning.
- Supports the implementation and integration of the Florida State Standards, career and college readiness.
- Promotes the use of resources in multiple formats that are designed to meet the needs of all learners in all aspects of the curriculum.
- Provides a learning environment that promotes inquiry and inclusion.
- Stimulates intellectual curiosity.
- Provides and promotes instruction to prepare students to become independent users of libraries and information resources.

Library Media Center Hours
The Media Center is open in the morning on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 8:45 a.m. The Media Center is closed on Wednesday mornings for Parent/Teacher Conferences.
