Do you know what time classes start at your school? Students and parents can find out the school start time on August 12th and everyday this school year, by visiting your school’s website.

Each school inside the School District of Palm Beach County has a list of school supplies for students.  Some schools already have the list on their website.  Other schools hand out a printed list during the first few days of classes.

Get Ready for School 2024: Free Breakfast and Lunch

The Palm Beach County School District will continue to offer free breakfast and lunch for all district students this school year. Students are able to receive a nutritious breakfast every morning. There are a variety of breakfast items to choose from, such as breakfast sandwiches, assorted cereals, eggs, omelets, french toast, pancakes, and many more. For lunch, students can choose from chicken patty sandwiches, deep dish pizza, salads, macaroni and cheese, and a variety of other selections with a vegetarian option offered each day.

Happy start to the back-to-school sales tax holiday. Starting today through Sunday, August 11th, you will not have to pay sales tax on certain clothes and school supplies. For more information, please visit floridarevenue.com/backtoschool.

Get Ready for School 2024: Register your Ride

The School District of Palm Beach County requires that all students who will be using bus transportation for the 2024–2025 school year, register with the Transportation Department by visiting palmbeachschools.org/transportation. Parents and guardians must complete a brief registration to ensure their child is assigned to a bus.
