Dual Enrollment & Early Admission

Eligibility
Dual Enrollment - Maximum of 8 credits per semester (Fall, Spring or Summer)
- 6th – 9th Grade Students
- I have four high school credits (at least one in Math and one in English)
- I have an unweighted GPA of at least 3.5.
- I have college-ready test scores or plan to take a test soon. (Valid two years from the test date)
- 10th – 12th Grade Students
- I have an unweighted GPA of at least 3.0.
- SLS 1501 Exception (12th Grade ONLY)
- Seniors with a GPA between 2.75-2.99 may enroll in SLS1501 ONLY in the Spring.
- I have college-ready test scores or plan to take a test soon. (Valid two years from the test date)
- 12 Credit Limit Exception (10th – 12th Grade ONLY)
- Must have college-ready test scores in at least one subject area.
- Students deficient in placement areas can enroll in one class at a time and a maximum of 12 credits total at PBSC. Must submit new scores to continue.
- 12 Credit Limit Exception (10th – 12th Grade ONLY)
- I have an unweighted GPA of at least 3.0.
- Early Admission Students (12th Grade) – Full-time (min. 12 credits) (Fall & Spring)
- I have an unweighted GPA of at least 3.2.
- I have college-ready test scores or plan to take a test soon. (Valid two years from the test date)
- I have an official recommendation letter from my principal/designee.
- Home Education students can submit a recommendation from a parent.
- Career and Technical Certificate Dual Enrollment (10th – 12th Grade)
- I have an unweighted GPA of at least 2.0.
- I have eligible TABE Scores for my desired CCP program (for programs 450+ clock hours)
- TABE not required for programs less than 450 clock hours.
- TABE Exemption: ACT/SAT/PERT scores at college level (within two years of program start date).
- The student or guardian is responsible for all TABE testing fees.
- Availability depends on the program and varies by semester.
NOTE: Students may take the PERT or ACCUPLACER at no cost on their first attempt at PBSC. See Steps 1 and 2 below for info on registering.
