AP Computer Science

  • AP Computer Science Principles  introduces students to the foundational concepts of computer science and challenges them to explore how computing and technology can impact the world. With a unique focus on creative problem solving and real-world applications, AP Computer Science Principles prepares students for college and career. Student interested should attend AP night in January for information and applications. AP Computer Sciences Principles is open to 11th & 12th grade students and also 10th grade students who passed IT Fundamentals.

    AP Computer Science A  Get familiar with the concepts and tools of computer science as you learn a subset of the Java programming language. You'll do hands-on work to design, write, and test computer programs that solve problems or accomplish tasks.

    The AP Program designed AP Computer Science Principles with the goal of creating leaders in computer science fields and attracting and engaging those who are traditionally underrepresented with essential computing tools and multidisciplinary opportunities.
