    Alzheimer's Association: The Alzheimer's Association is the leading, global voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care and support, and the largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research.

    American Association of Caregiving Youth: The American Association of Caregiving Youth (AACY) began as a nonprofit corporation in 1998 which was founded to serve people who were homebound and caregiving families. Headquartered in Boca Raton, FL, AACY is the only organization in the U.S. dedicated solely to addressing caregiving youth issues.

    American Foundation for Suicide Prevention: The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. AFSP creates a culture that’s smart about mental health through education and community programs, develops suicide prevention through research and advocacy, and provides support for those affected by suicide.

    American Red Cross: When you volunteer with the American Red Cross, you’re supporting one of the largest humanitarian organizations in the world and making a positive impact on your peers and in your community.     Big Brothers Big Sisters: Volunteers are needed for their after school mentoring program. 

    Big Dog Ranch Rescue: Big Dog Ranch Rescue was founded on the idea that every dog deserves to live and, most importantly, to live a full and happy life. We are devoted to creating a healing community for dogs, both big and small, who have been neglected, abandoned, and mistreated.

    Boca Helping Hands: Boca Helping Hands (BHH) is a community-based nonprofit that provides food, medical and financial assistance to meet basic human needs as well as education, job training and guidance to create self-sufficiency. Through its various assistance programs, BHH supports over 27,000 people annually.

    Boca Raton Regional Hospital: The teen program offers volunteer opportunities for youth ages 15-17 years old. The teenager must have a genuine desire to help others, an understanding of their responsibility to adhere to all D-RMSL and BRRH policies, and agree to one four-hour shift each week for at least six consecutive months.

    Boca West Children's Foundation: The Boca West Children’s Foundation condemns systemic racism and social injustice. Since our inception 10 years ago we have addressed these issues by identifying and funding projects to assist at-risk children and their families in Palm Beach County. 

    Caridad Center: Caridad Center's mission and vision is to upgrade the health, education, and living standards of underserved children and families; and to eliminate the cycle of poverty for the families we serve in South Florida.

    Catholic Charities Diocese of Palm Beach, Inc.: The Volunteer Services Program manages all volunteer opportunities for Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach. We continually seek generous and dedicated volunteers to work in our various programs.

    Christa McAuliffe Middle School: Christa McAuliffe Middle School and our PTSA have many opportunities to volunteer available. Whether it is mentoring a student, helping our ESE classes, decorating/chaperoning for a dance or preparing flower & candy orders, Book Fair, School Pictures, etc., we welcome you and thank you for your support. 

    City of Boynton Beach: Volunteer with the City of Boynton Beach.

    Community Greening: Community Greening (CG), an urban forestry non-profit based in Delray Beach, has quickly expanded throughout South Florida. CG works with local residents and organizations to improve the environment and the community by planting trees and transforming urban green spaces.

    Compass LGBTQ Community Center: Compass' mission is to engage, empower and enrich the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) people and those impacted by HIV and AIDS.

    Congregation B'Nai Israel: CBI is a welcoming home. We inspire and connect a diverse community for generations by advancing the richness of Jewish values and traditions through the embrace of Torah (study), Avodah (work), and Gemilut Chasidim (acts of loving kindness).

    Coral Springs Center for the Arts: Located in Coral Springs, Florida, The Center delivers a modern fusion of the finest in music, dance, comedy and more! With events including galleries, dynamic shows, concerts, and festivals, there are plenty of entertainment options suited for all ages and interests. From the best of Broadway, top comedians, and performances of every genre, to a diverse selection of family productions, the theater has something for every taste.

    Delray Medical Center: Delray volunteers share their time, experience and talent by helping others. Volunteering gives people a sense of accomplishment, and our staff has come to depend on volunteers as an integral part of our healthcare system. Anyone over age 18 who can commit at least one day a week to a four-hour shift is eligible to become a volunteer. Young people ages 14 through 17 are eligible to become teen volunteers.

    Discovery Key PTA: We would like to encourage everyone to volunteer any amount of time that you can. Even if you only have an hour to give, we encourage you not to shy away. You never know, in that hour you could make a difference in the life of a child.

    Everglades Youth Conservation Camp: Are you an experienced kayaker or avid fisherman? We could use your help introducing youth to the great outdoors! Are you a professional craftsman or handy-man? Volunteers are needed for all kinds of activities, from helping set up for events to performing basic maintenance at our facilities. There are many ways you can contribute to Creating the Next Generation that Cares! 

    Family Promise of North Central Palm Beach County: Family Promise is part of a national organization with over 180 affiliates that provides temporary shelter, transportation, meals and comprehensive case management for families who are experiencing homelessness.

    Feeding South Florida: We provide more than 119 million pounds of food (99 million meals) each year. Food must be inspected and sorted before we can distribute it. Whether you’re a group or an individual, we always need of volunteers to assist with the sort process. We can accommodate small and large groups and specialize in team-building and special event sort days!

    Forgotten Soldiers Outreach: Over the years, Forgotten Soldiers Outreach has become a nationally recognized organization receiving support from all over the country. We send out monthly “We Care” packages to our United States deployed military, who have been registered by family members, friends, commanding officers or themselves.

    Good Samaritan Medical Center: We have various volunteer positions working with patients or just as general support for staff. You can volunteer at any part of the day, during the workweek or on weekends. We will work with you and your schedule. 

    GTS Husky Rescue: We are a community-based 501(c)(3) that operates a safe no kill shelter for abused, neglected and abandoned huskies. Volunteers with all different skill sets are needed to rescue and find our Huskies a permanent home. 

    Habitat for Humanity: Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County partners with families in need to build affordable homes together. Each Habitat partner family is required to invest a minimum of 400 sweat equity hours of their own labor before being eligible to purchase their home utilizing a 30-year, no profit, no interest loan. With your support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families.

    Historical Society of Palm Beach County: If you like working with people and have an interest in history, consider volunteering your time at the Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum and Historical Society of Palm Beach County. The museum has an ongoing need for volunteers with opportunities as a Docent, Museum Store Assistant, or Front Desk Greeter, at Special Events, and in the Archives.

    Holy Cross Hospital: The Department of Volunteer Services provides persons who wish to donate their time and actively engage in community service an opportunity to provide support to Holy Cross Health's mission.

    Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County: The Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County is a leader in gap funding for programs that end homelessness in Palm Beach County.

    Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County: Federation’s Jewish Volunteer Center provides you — regardless of your age, interest or time available — with meaningful service projects to lead a unique impact for the causes you care about.

    Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County: Volunteers are an important part of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County. Throughout the year we recruit and place many volunteers who help fulfill the needs of the Jewish Federation and its beneficiaries.

    Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital: Since 1992, thousands of children and their families have had their lives positively impacted by Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. Thanks to our experienced and world-class team, countless children have received expert medical care in a compassionate child-friendly environment. 

    Journey Church: We want to provide a place every weekend where people can encounter the life changing presence of God. People have enough influences in their lives telling them what they can and cannot do. We want to be a place where they are loved, encouraged, and accepted. Our services will be FUN (yes, you can do that in church) and a place where people will want to invite their friends and family.

    Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue: Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue’s Mission is to reduce the number of homeless dogs and cats from becoming victim to shelter euthanasia, while educating the public on the importance of adoption and spay and neuter in our community.  Our volunteer staff is dedicated to saving pregnant and nursing animals, as well as orphaned puppies/kittens, and any unwanted animal, whether sick or healthy. If there is an open foster home and available funds we will ensure the animal receives its forever home. Every animal we rescue is placed in a foster home, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested, and provided any other necessary medical care. In addition, through our not-for- profit hospital, we will provide affordable veterinary care to the animals in our community.

    Kibblez of Love Pet Food Bank and Rescue: Kibblez of Love, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non profit organization dedicated to the well-being of family pets. We provide pet food to families in financial distress as well as aid in spay and neuter services for these families. If a family’s need is greater than what we can provide, we will assist with finding the pet or pets a new home.

    Kids Cancer Foundation: Kids Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity, founded in 2001 whose mission is to provide hope and support to local children and families battling childhood cancer. We accomplish this by providing compassionate, easily accessible, supportive care services.

    Kravis Center for the Performing Arts: The Kravis Center maintains an extensive Volunteer Program to help supplement the regular full time staff in a number of different areas. These fine individuals contribute their time, talent and energy providing a vital function. They come from all walks of life enabling the center to operate more efficiently and better serve the over 500,000 patrons who frequent the entertainment complex each season. Their services are utilized as ushers, data entry and gift shop attendants. They also assist with the extensive educational outreach programs in a number of varied capacities.

    Lake Worth Burrito Project: We gather every Saturday morning to prepare burritos and sort clothes to share with our homeless friends at Bryant Park and John Prince Park in Lake Worth. Once everything is prepared, we head to the parks to share some good food, some clean clothes, some laughs, some tears, and a Bible study with whomever wants to listen.

    Lake Worth Playhouse: The Lake Worth Playhouse is always in need of new volunteers! We will be happy to train you! If you’re interested in volunteering your time and talents, we can use your help in several areas.

    The League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County: The League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County seeks to help citizens become informed voters and increase voter participation.  Their mission is “Empowering Voters, Defending Democracy”.  There are many ways you can help.  To volunteer, email us at Volunteer@lwvpbc.org.  Include the Opportunity number, your name and contact information (email and phone requested), and tell us how you’d like to help.

    Lighthouse ArtCenter’s Summer Intern Program: The Lighthouse ArtCenter Gallery & School of Art is a not-for-profit art center dedicated to the visual arts whose mission is to inspire, engage and connect our community through a vibrant school of art, unique exhibitions and diverse special events.

    Loggerhead Marinelife Center: Loggerhead Marinelife Center is one of Florida’s most visited nonprofit scientific destinations focused on ocean and sea turtle conservation.

    Love Serving Autism: Love Serving Autism provides specialized therapeutic tennis instruction for individuals with autism spectrum disorders. 

    Lyric Foundation Inc.: Lyric Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit organization dedicated to providing opportunities and scholarships to children and adolescents who wish to further develop their musical skills and talents through private music lessons, attending summer programs, and participating in school programs such as chorus and band.

    Miracle League Baseball: For over 10 years, the Miracle League Association has made it possible for children all over the country with physical and mental disabilities to achieve the same dream as their healthy peers – to play ball. The field is complete with a cushioned synthetic turf to help prevent injuries, wheelchair accessible dugouts, and a completely flat surface to eliminate any barriers to the wheelchair bound or visually impaired players. The Miracle League is a non-profit (501) c (3) organization.

    Morikami Museum: Give the gift of your time – become a Morikami volunteer! Morikami volunteers fill a variety of positions on a weekly basis as well as at each of three annual festivals. Positions require the ability to communicate well and interact easily with people, and the desire to work in accordance with the mission statement of Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. Training and a volunteer orientation are required for most positions.

    Morselife Foundation: MorseLife Health System is a premier provider of health care and housing services for seniors in Palm Beach County. MorseLife touches the lives of 3,600 seniors every day and is committed to providing exceptional care to the community’s senior population.

    Mounts Botanical Garden: Have fun and learn while helping Mounts Botanical Garden of Palm Beach County grow – become a Mounts volunteer! Whether you like getting your hands in the soil, like the excitement of working special events or prefer office work, there are volunteer opportunities for every interest.

    Nat King Cole Generation Hope: Nat King Cole Generation Hope envisions a day when all children are given the opportunity to achieve and experience excellence in music. Founded in 2008 to honor and preserve the Cole Family Legacy, the goal is to foster harmony between people through music, the universal language of all mankind.

    Office of the State Attorney: Looking for a rewarding way to give back to your community, gain new skills and make an important contribution?  The State Attorney’s Office offers a fast paced, stimulating and welcoming environment.  Opportunities are available for people with a wide range of skills, interests and objectives. 

    Paint Your Heart Out Palm Beach County: Paint Your Heart Out Palm Beach County is a county-wide program that enables citizens, businesses, clubs, and organizations to lend a helping hand to low-income, qualifying, grateful residents in our community. Over the past 20 years, volunteers and sponsors have given of themselves to paint over 300+ homes every year.

    Palm Beach County Amphitheaters: Assist at some of Palm Beach County's leading festivals and concerts.

    Palm Beach County Dramaworks: Volunteers are an invaluable part of Palm Beach Dramaworks. They help us usher, prepare mailings, plan events and so much more.

    Palm Beach County Food Bank: Donating your time to serve at the Palm Beach County Food Bank is one of many impactful ways to support hunger relief in our community. With various projects, such as sorting and organizing food for our warehouse, completing clerical work in the office, and volunteering at an event are all ways to help turn hunger into hope!

    PBC 4-H: Palm Beach County 4-H relies on dedicated volunteers to promote its mission to help youth gain the knowledge and life skills they need to be productive, responsible citizens. Your time as a volunteer will provide these youth the safe environment they need to pursue whatever interests, causes, and leadership roles that are most important to them. 

    PBC Animal Care and Control: Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering at Animal Care & Control. It is a very rewarding and fulfilling experience to work alongside others who share your passion for animal welfare. We greatly value our volunteers and thank them for dedicating their time to care for our shelter animals and assist our staff.

    PBC Behavioral Health Coalition: Palm Beach County Behavioral Health welcomes the involvement of students, professionals, retirees, (limited) interns and anyone else who wants to create positive choices in our community. Our “Teen Coalition” or “Coalition on Wheels” team are great ways to plug in.

    PBC Environmental Resources Management: Join ERM's team to preserve, protect, and restore your eco-treasures. Do you need community service hours or are you looking to give back your time and attention to the environment? We have many programs that allow volunteers to lend a hand once in awhile or on a regular basis.

    PBC Senior Services: DOSS provides a wide range of programs and services to assist seniors, their families and care givers in Palm Beach County. DOSS is fortunate to have volunteers of all ages helping in the Division's mission of serving seniors.

    PBC Solid Waste Authority: Since 1994, hundreds of Palm Beach County residents have given their time to help the SWA educate the public about the benefits of the SWA's litter abatement, waste prevention, recycling, and home chemical/hazardous waste programs.

    PBC Zoning Division: The PBC Zoning Division is seeking highly motivated volunteers to help in various areas of our Division. The Zoning Division has several key functions in the County: Reviewing and making recommendations on applications for development proposals, review and draft amendments to the Unified Land Development Code (Development regulations for development), provide daily customer services to the public requesting: zoning information, files and appointments.

    Peggy Adams Animal Rescue: The Mission of the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League of the Palm Beaches, Incorporated is to provide shelter to lost, homeless and unwanted animals, to provide spay and neuter and other medical services for companion animals, and to care for, protect, and find quality homes for homeless and neglected companion animals, to advocate animal welfare, community involvement and education to further the bond between people and animals.

    Pet Haven Rescue: Pet Haven Rescue is committed to help abolish the suffering, neglect, and overpopulation of animals. It is our strong belief that quality of animal care should come before quantity. We are advocates against hoarders and irresponsible rescue practices that cause more stress and anguish to these delicate creatures. Our cage-free concept reduces stress and cage rage in shelter settings, making them more adoptable. We will continue converting one shelter at a time!

    Petals with a Purpose: Petals With Purpose™ brings joy to the lives of children, the elderly and those living with disabilities through re-purposed flowers that go hand-in-hand with visits. The flowers are recycled from weddings, celebrations and corporate events and delivered to youth organizations, shelters, hospitals, nursing homes and hospice care facilities.

    Project Sunshine: Project Sunshine brings volunteer-led programming to pediatric patients and their families in a variety of medical settings. We recognize the tremendous weight of managing a child’s illness or injury, whether it requires short-term or long-term care. Every child with a medical challenge is unique, and our programs seek to adapt to the individual needs of each child.

    Quantum House: Quantum House is a caring and supportive home that lessens the burden for families whose children are receiving treatment in Palm Beach County for a serious medical condition.

    Reel Fishing Charities: Reel Fishing Charities was organized to inspire, educate, and support disadvantaged youth, children with special needs, and elementary aged students. Reel Fishing Charities will provide opportunities to teach kids how to fish and provide all necessary equipment and tackle. We will hold fishing tournaments, provide fishing guide trips, and help fund other 501(c)(3) fishing tournaments. We will also help fund educational seminars based on environmental conservation and protection of our natural resources. 

    Resource Depot: For 21 years, Resource Depot's center for creative reuse has turned waste into artistic wonder by collecting and distributing excess materials to the benefit of classrooms, summer camps, art studios, and most importantly, the environment.

    RU4Me Pet Rescue: RU4Me Pet Rescue, Inc., is an all volunteer rescue based in the Boynton Beach area of Palm Beach County Florida.  We are a 501c3 cat and dog rescue organization that relies 100% on donations and grants for rescuing unwanted pets in Palm Beach County.

    Salty Dog Paddle: Originally founded in 1977 as a for-profit surf brand in Florida, Salty Dog Paddle became a volunteer public charity that has raised over 1 million dollars over 42 years for injured animals throughout America and has been recognized by Central Florida Lifestyle Magazine, The New Barker, and Bring Fido as the most notable animal organization in Florida. According to Facebook, it is the most popular watersports charity in America and according to Amazon, it is the most popular nonprofit surf brand in the USA as of 2019.

    Salvation Army Florida: More than 3 million people across the United States volunteer their time, talents, and resources, to assist The Salvation Army’s work. Our volunteers are critical partners in helping us fulfill our promise of ‘Doing the Most Good’ for people in need.

    Schoolhouse Children's Museum and Learning Center : As a teen volunteer, ages 15-17, you have the opportunity to lead hands-on activities, heighten the experience of children and families by interacting with visitors at our exhibits, assist the staff in classes and with birthday parties, and volunteer at special events.

    Seagull Services: Seagull Services provides advocacy and services for teens and adults with disabilities and their families and at the same time provides important work force development  and employment services for people who have various barriers to employment and who have become among the long term unemployed. Seagull strives to connect people with resources, improve systems and community services, promote inclusive community practices and influence public policy.

    Second Chance Puppy and Kitten Rescue: A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue, founded in October 2007, is a 100% volunteer, foster-based 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue group based in Palm Beach County, Florida. From the Board of Directors to our Foster Caretakers to our Event Staff, each volunteer gives generously of their time and skills, motivated solely by a desire to help animals.

    South Florida Fair: The South Florida Fair relies heavily on volunteer support. Join over 800 volunteers and become a part of our exciting 501c3 organization!

    South Florida Sanctuary: Reaching out in a loving and compassionate way, with dignity and respect, to those in our community, who due to their life’s circumstances and trials and tribulations, whether homeless or not, need emergency assistance. We will provide sustenance, a temporary and secure personal space, clothes and other goods, and help connecting with private and governmental organizations for more advanced care and assistance.

    Speak Up For Kids: Speak Up For Kids is a local non-profit organization that supports abused, abandoned, and neglected children in Palm Beach County. Students interested in earning community service hours can watch this five minute video for more information about launching a project with them. 

    Special Olympics Florida: The mission of Special Olympics Florida is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities who wish to participate, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.

    St. Thomas More Catholic Church: Imagine what our families, church, and community would be like if we all took the time to do what God uniquely designed each of us to do in serving others. The ripple effect of each person making their unique contribution would result in a revolution of Christ's love being felt in tangible, life-changing ways.

    Sweets Foundation: Sweets Foundation was founded by a group of Palm Beach County business professionals who seek to address the needs of their fellow county residents.  Although needs exist virtually everywhere, there are enough situations that deserve attention right in our own county. Hence the Foundation’s motto: “Building A Better Palm Beach County”.

    The Guatamalan-Maya Center: We are a community based non-profit serving uprooted children and families in Palm Beach County for over 30 years. Our mission is to foster a nurturing, stable and culturally diverse environment to empower those victimized by violence to seek justice and to build community.

    The Lord's Place: The Lord’s Place is dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness by providing innovative, compassionate and effective services to men, women and children in our community.

    The Soup Kitchen Boynton Beach: Our Volunteers make a difference in the lives of those living in poverty. They are caring and loving individuals inspired to feed the hungry, give a drink to the thirsty and welcome the stranger. Whether cooking a meal, distributing and/or serving food – they bring our mission to life! We are grateful to have over 300 Volunteers sharing our vision to enhance the lives of those who live in poverty.

    Tomorrow's Rainbow Children's Bereavement: Tomorrow's Rainbow provides free grief support groups for children ages 3 years old through high school and their families.  Seventeen specialized groups are offered twice monthly and meet year-round.  Because grief is a life-long journey, children and teens may stay in group for as long as they like and may return at any time.

    Touch a Heart Foundation: Touch A Heart Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) children’s charity helping less fortunate children in South Florida.  Our mission is to enrich the lives of disadvantaged children in the tri-county area of Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade.

    Tri-County Animal Rescue: Tri-County Animal Rescue is a 100% No-Kill, 501(c)3, nonprofit animal shelter working to prevent the killing of over 170,000 unwanted pets in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties each year. Since our inception, we have saved over 68k domestic animals from being euthanized.

    United Way of Palm Beach County: Our Mission: To ensure that everyone in Palm Beach County has access to the basics: a quality education, a place to live, financial stability, good medical care, and enough to eat.

    Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center: The Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center is dedicated to serving people with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities of all ages in Palm Beach County. They need volunteers to help with horse care, rider support, office help, maintenance, and more. You don't need horse experience to volunteer. 

    Village of Wellington: Volunteer Wellington is a program that utilizes volunteers to enhance community engagement and the delivery of services to residents. The Volunteer Wellington program allows Wellington to efficiently conserve resources while also providing volunteers personal satisfaction and an increased understanding of Wellington’s government.

    VITAS Healthcare Hospice: VITAS provides compassionate hospice care to patients with a life-limiting illness, and our palliative care team focuses on symptom management, pain relief and quality-of-life issues for patients facing chronic, complex or serious illnesses.

    Wellington Communities Football: The WCFL is in need of volunteers this football season. We are a non-profit organization and can help your students earn their volunteer hours.

    West Boca Medical Center: At West Boca Medical Center, we appreciate our volunteers! Our goal is to create an extra dimension of care that volunteers can provide to our patients and families; all the while honoring their objectives and skillset. Our staff has come to depend on volunteers as an integral part of our healthcare system.

    West Boynton Girls Fastpitch: We need students to set up fields, run the score boards, work in concessions and announce games.

    Young Singers of the Palm Beaches: We strive to provide the children of Palm Beach County with the highest possible standards of choral training. Singers in our programs learn all aspects of proper choral singing and vocal technique, which include posture, breathing, diction, vowel articulation, music reading, and sight singing. Members also learn interpretation, music history, rehearsal techniques, as well as performance techniques, presentation and etiquette.
