Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program
Florida Academic Scholarship (FAS) / Florida Medallion Scholarship (FMS)
Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholarship (GSV)OCTOBER 1 IS THE FIRST DAY TO BEGIN APPLYING FOR THE FLORIDA BRIGHT FUTURES SCHOLARSHIPS.
Apply whether or not you currently have the test scores, community service hours, GPA/HPA required by Bright Futures. Also, apply even if you are going to an out of state college or university.

If you do not apply you will not be eligible to receive funds!!!!!!!!!!
You may begin applying OCTOBER 1!!!!! Please apply as early as possible to be considered for additional state funded scholarships.
HINTS:
*you DO NOT have to complete the SSN or FLE ID fields but it is a very good idea to complete the fields below:
*you can use the high school graduation date of 05/26 (this is not the actual date)
*be sure to read each question carefully, especially the one asking if you have ever been convicted of a felony
*after creating the Profile, the student's User ID and password will temporarily display (make a note of this) NOTE: Student will also receive an email with their User ID and temporary password.
*after creating a Profile, students will have the option to continue directly to the FFAA (make sure to do this)
*make sure to hit “SUBMIT” at the end
Qualifying Test Scores for SAT and ACTStudents must send any qualifying SAT or ACT score report to any of the 12 Florida public universities for the scores, (or section scores in the case of superscoring) to be entered into the Bright Futures Scholarship evaluation system.Students must ensure their current address is accurate on each ACT® and SAT® registration to assist in the test score report confirmation within the evaluation system. Test scores for the 2022 and 2023 graduates include:Florida Academic Scholars (FAS) – minimum ACT® composite score of 29 orminimum SAT® combined score of 1330Florida Medallion Scholars (FMS) – minimum ACT® composite score of 25 orminimum SAT® combined score of 1210.
