In our series 'Behind the Badge,' we are getting to know the brave men and women of the Palm Beach County School Police Department, and the ways they go above and beyond to connect with, and protect our students and staff. We visited Greenacres Elementary School where Officer Carlos Rodriguez spends the busy lunch hour sharing a meal with students.

2024-2025 was a banner year for the "A" Rated School District of Palm Beach County. Our students' talent shined on the athletic field, in the classroom and on the stage. Community experiences took students out of the classroom and into the community for hands-on learning, two new therapy dogs joined our School Police Department, and hundreds of students started the school year at modernized campuses.

Dozens of Forest Hill Elementary School students celebrated a special Bike and Roll to School Day, after their PE teacher taught them how to ride a bike! 24 bikes were donated to the school and through the All Kids Bike program, kindergarten and first grade students learned balance, safety, and riding skills during PE class.
