On March 30, RISE Academy in Boynton Beach celebrated a complete campus renovation and the promise it signifies to students and the entire school community. Funds from the 2016 Penny Sales Tax Referendum upgraded the school’s facilities from portable classrooms to a state-of-the-art facility.

“We want to give all of our students the opportunity to thrive,” said Joseph Sanches, the District’s Chief Operating Officer. “This facility will do just that for these kids, and I know they will continue to do well.”

The modernized campus features:

  • Dedicated learning wings: The facility is now organized into distinct middle and high school sections, allowing for enhanced structure and smoother daily transitions.
  • Expanded support services: The new space provides the footprint necessary to grow vital programs, including credit recovery, intensive tutoring, and robust after-school supports.
  • Safety and inspiration: Beyond aesthetics, the building was designed to offer a safe, empowering environment where students feel secure.

District leaders emphasized that this investment is a reflection of the high expectations staff has for student potential.

“Now that we are here, kids are happier, staff are happier, parents want to come here,” said Reginald Jeudy, the Principal of RISE Academy. “The community should be proud of our new school.”

Speakers noted that the campus was built for students, reinforcing that the bricks and mortar are simply tools to help every student stay on track toward graduation.
