Submit Controlled Open Enrollment Applications by May 30
The Controlled Open Enrollment application for the 2025-2026 school year is open from Monday, April 14, 2025 through Friday, May 30, 2025. Results for the 2025-2026 Controlled Open Enrollment application will be posted on Monday, June 9, 2025.
Controlled Open Enrollment allows students to apply for and attend a school outside their regular attendance zone. Pursuant to Florida Statute 1002.31, the School District of Palm Beach County will allow a parent from any school district in the state of Florida whose child is not subject to a current expulsion or suspension, to apply for an assignment to an available school for the following school year.
Only schools offered in the application and indicated on the approved list will be accepting applications. If a school is not stated on the list of schools, that means it is not available for Controlled Open Enrollment and a student cannot submit an application to that campus. Additionally, a student cannot apply for a school in the attendance zone where they currently live.

- The deadline to submit applications is Friday, May 30, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
- All students entering grades K–12 are eligible to apply.
- Students who do not live in Palm Beach County are also eligible to apply.
- Please note that transportation will not be provided.
- Assignment through Controlled Open Enrollment will not remove a student from a Choice program wait pool.
- Controlled Open Enrollment is a lottery.
