Thank a Teacher is Back for 2026-2027

The School District of Palm Beach County
The new school year brings another Thank a Teacher campaign celebrating the School District of Palm Beach County’s dedicated educators.
Throughout the 2026-2027 school year, students, families, and staff members are encouraged to share their stories about a particular teacher’s inspiring actions, supportive words, creative lessons, or just their overall positive impact.
Starting in September, one teacher will be selected and highlighted on social media for the Thank a Teacher campaign. The campaign event sponsor is HCA Florida Healthcare, which operates HCA Florida JFK Hospital, HCA Florida JFK North Hospital, and HCA Florida Palms West Hospital in Palm Beach County. Thanks to the generosity of HCA, each winning teacher will receive $500 during this year’s campaign.
Being selected as a nominee is a result of nominations from the public that contained words of gratitude for the exceptional teacher. Nominees will receive a special email containing those heartfelt messages. Take a look back at the heartwarming videos from the 2025-2026 campaign.
