Vivian Morris Green has worked for Palm Beach County School District for more than 23 years. She began her career as a 4th-grade teacher at Berkshire Elementary in 1992. Since that time, she has served the District as a leader in several other capacities including ESOL Coordinator, Assistant Principal, Instructional Support Team Leader, Principal, Director of Professional Standards and currently as the Director of School Transformation.
Each assignment afforded her an opportunity to learn, lead and empower others to take action towards providing our students a world-class education. With a career that spans more than two decades, there are many things Ms. Green has accomplished that make her proud. She admits there is one accomplishment that stands alone, leading Pahokee Elementary School from a “D” to an “A”.
As a lifelong learner, Ms. Green holds the following degrees: a Bachelor of Arts, Elementary Education, Masters of Arts, Teaching and an Educational Specialist, Educational Leadership. She has also continued her professional learning at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, Columbia University’s Teachers College and The University of Washington’s Center for Educational Leadership.
When she is not at work she is involved in her church and enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married to her husband, Gregory for 20 years and they have one daughter, Vicoya.
