Step 1: Explore the opportunities waiting for you in the School District of Palm Beach County! We encourage you to get to know us!

Step 2: Apply for instructional positions.

  • Each application submitted is vetted to ensure the basic requirements are met.
  • Required education and/or degrees must be earned from an institution accredited by an approved accrediting agency. Additionally, applicants with academic training and degrees granted outside the United States MUST submit a credential evaluation report.

Step 3: Interview via an asynchronous video interview platform.

After we review your application and it meets the basic qualifications, you will be invited to participate in a SparkHire video interview. You will be sent a link with instructions with how to login and respond to questions via video.

The platform allows you to take your interview via your phone or computer and when it is convenient for you. You will also have an opportunity to learn more about the School District of Palm Beach County in the process.

Step 4: Interview with principals.

If your Spark Hire video meets the qualifications to continue, your application and Spark Hire video will be shared with principals.

Principals will then reach out to you to set up an interview time and will provide the details on how you will meet.

Step 5: Receive offer.

You may receive an offer at the end of the interview or once all the interviews are completed.

Once a job offer has been made, you will be contacted regarding the next steps of the hiring process.

Step 6: Onboard to your new position!

Your principal and new colleagues will guide you through the next steps on getting you started in your new position.
