ATTENTION: The Certification office will not be accepting any 2026 CT116 Submission requests until August 1, 2025.
Important Notice from the Palm Beach County School District Certification Office
Effective July 1, 2024
The Certification Office will only support certification renewal for the following individuals:
- Current employees of the School District of Palm Beach County (SDPBC)
- Retired SDPBC employees
- Former SDPBC employees who worked with the district for a minimum of five years
If you do not fall into one of these categories:
- The Certification Office will no longer submit your external inservice points (Form CT-116) to the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE). This includes inservice points earned through Beacon Educator or any other outside vendor

If you meet the above criteria, note:
- Our office will submit only ONE CT-116 Form per educator in each validity period.
- Ensure that all requirements are completed prior to submission.
- We will only accept in-service points earned through Beacon Educator. A transcript is required. We will not accept certificates of completion. Please find instructions on how to retrieve the transcripts from your Beacon Educator account HERE
- We will no longer accept points from any other outside vendors, including courses completed through the BEESS Portal.
