SALARY ADJUSTMENTS
The School Board approved at the July 15th meeting to adjust and increase the salaries of the NBU employees (Staff Association members). Early in FY26 (school year 25-26) the School Board approved a 1.5% salary increase plus a one-time bonus of 1.5%. Those salary adjustments were made and completed in November and December of 2025. At the July 15th meeting an additional 0.5% increase was approved which resulted in a 3.5% cumulative increase in salary for NBU employees.
As a result of this action NBU employee salaries will demonstrate a 2% recurring increase as compared to June 30, 2025. The 0.5% increase will be reflected on the July 31st pay. A retro payment for July1-10, 2026 of the 0.5% increase will be distributed with the August 28, 2026 paycheck.
Currently, there has been no conversation for any salary increases for FY27 (school year 26-27). The FY27 budget will be approved at the September 9th Special School Board Meeting at 5:05 PM. Any considerations for salary increases for FY27 could not take place until after that date.

Consultant Update
I have had the honor and privilege of service as your consultant since August 2023 and in my experiences I’ve learned that many are not aware of what the Staff Association Consultant does and can do for the members.
The Staff Association of the School District of Palm Beach County was established to give a voice to the many Non-Bargaining Unit (NBU) employees of the District.
School Board Policy 2.013 Recognition of Staff Association provides members of the Staff Association certain privileges of representation and a voice in decisions being made that impact the NBU employees/members in the District. The Consultant, along with the support of the Staff Association Board of Directors, works to provide the representation and voice for the NBU members.
