Additional CTA Supplements

Under the Terms of the current Bargaining Agreement between Palm Beach County School District and the Classroom Teachers Association (CTA), additional supplements may be available to CTA Bargaining Unit employees who meet the criteria below.

“An employee holding more than one of the following certificates is eligible to receive only one annual supplement: NBPTS, CCC or NCSP.” (APPENDIX A)

SCCC CERTIFICATION (and ASHA)*

A $2,000 annual supplement will be paid to the holder of a valid “Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)” certificate for as long as the respective employee remains in a Speech Language Pathologist’s/ Audiologist’s position. Submit PBSD 2277 and a copy of the certificate/ASHA card to Compensation & Employee Information Services, via fax, to 561‐357‐1176. For supplement renewals, fax a copy of the card showing the new expiration date to the number above. (Include your Employee ID number)

NCSP CERTIFICATION*

A $2,000 annual supplement will be paid to the holder of a valid National Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) certificate. Submit PBSD 2277 and a copy of the certificate/NCSP card to Compensation & Employee Information Services, via fax, to 561‐357‐1176. For supplement renewals, fax a copy of the card showing the new expiration date to the number above. (Include your Employee ID number)

NATIONAL BOARD CERTIFICATE

A $2,000 annual supplement will be paid to the holder of a valid National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) certificate, in addition to any supplement amount appropriated by the Florida Legislature. Submit PBSD 2277 and a copy of the NBPTS certificate to the Certification Office. (Include your Employee ID number) For additional questions, please call the Certification Office at (561) 434‐8202.

GLADES SUPPLEMENT

Full‐time employees who are assigned to a Glades Area school/facility will be paid the following annual Glades Supplements based on the terms of the current CTA Bargaining Agreement:

*It is the employee's responsibility to ensure a copy of the renewed ASHA card/NCSP card showing the new expiration date is submitted prior to the expiration date.
