Cost
$87.42 every five (5) years.
Badges are issued with an expiration date of five years from the initial fingerprinting. Vendors must be fingerprinted again at the time of expiration and pay the fee.
All fingerprinting is completed through a separate company. You must schedule an appointment using directions and a code provided by the School District.
Fingerprinting Instructions
Beginning April 12, 2024, the previous vendor fingerprinting code will be inactivated and no longer work. In order to make a fingerprinting appointment, you must contact the department or school you work with to receive an updated code. If you are unsure of which department/school you are working with, then please complete this form http://l.sdpbc.net/i89dd or contact Human Resources directly at the information below.
Fingerprinting/Background Check is Required
In order to work on campuses, all vendors/contractors/consultants must be cleared through fingerprinting and a background screening. This includes the following:
- Bid-awarded vendors/contractors/consultants
- Subcontractors
- Sub-consultants
- Professional service consultants
- Companies providing services for special events on campuses (e.g. food trucks, book fairs, school pictures, etc.)
- All employees including temporary employees working for any of the above
How to Get Fingerprinting Directions?
Contact the department or school(s) that you will be working with or providing services. The point of contact will provide you with fingerprinting instructions and your specific code for registering with Fieldprint, Inc.
Why a Special Code?
You need to receive a specific fingerprinting code to track which department or school you are working with. Failure to use the code provided will result in your background not being received and your fee lost.
Not Sure Which Department or School?
If you do not have a point of contact at a dept/school, complete this form: http://l.sdpbc.net/i89dd. A team member from Human Resources will contact you.
