Fingerprinting and Badges

Attention: Candidates will no longer be fingerprinted at the
Fulton-Holland Educational Services Center

The Palm Beach County School District is committed to keeping our students and staff members safe. All employees, student teaching interns, charter school employees, vendors, consultants, and contractors will need to submit fingerprints and undergo a background check.

When applicants are offered a job and conditionally approved for hire, the Department of Recruitment & Retention will email a job offer letter and directions on how to schedule an appointment for fingerprinting. It is imperative that the candidate receive the instructions from the appropriate department.

Pursuant to Florida Statute §435.12, all finalists for employment with the School District of Palm Beach County may be required to undergo a background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. When an official job offer is made by the School District, additional information and instructions for completing the required background screening will be provided by Human Resources. For more information about the Clearinghouse, please visit:
https://ahca.myflorida.com/health-quality-assurance/bureau-of-central-services/background-screening/clearinghouse/care-provider-background-screening-clearinghouse

Individuals must register online to schedule an appointment for fingerprint and photograph services. Fingerprinting sites are located throughout the United States. For the nearest Fieldprint Livescan location, please visit their website.
