The Palm Beach County School District Police Training Division provides new hire,
annual, and specialty training for Palm Beach County School District employees,
including sworn law enforcement, educators, and professional staff. The division also
oversees the Field Training Office (FTO), which trains new hires.

PBSDPD has training facilities throughout Palm Beach County. Our training facility is at
2350 Seacrest Boulevard in Delray Beach, FL. Additional facilities include the Safe
Schools Institute in Boca Raton and the Old Adult Ed Facility in West Palm Beach. The
division comprises 1 Captain, 1 Sergeant, 2 Officers, and multiple adjunct instructors.

The PBSDPD Training Division has established a positive reputation in the law
enforcement community. We have hosted local agencies at our facilities for
individualized and team training. The PBSDPD Training Staff is constantly striving to
improve and advance their skill set by following the latest trends in law enforcement
training, equipment, and tactics.
