National Police Week

National Police Week
Posted on 05/14/2019
May 12 - 18 is National Police Week, a time to pay tribute to law enforcement officers who serve and protect the community with courage and dedication. It’s also a time to honor and remember law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.

The School District of Palm Beach County is grateful to the men and women who protect our students, staff, and our schools on a daily basis. For School District Police, it's not just a job, it’s a calling. Officers build valuable relationships with students, and in doing so, create a stronger and safer school environment.

This year, the District added more than 80 officers to its police force which is now comprised of more than 200 accredited, highly-trained officers. School Police continues to add more officers, purchase additional security equipment, and lead the efforts in fortifying our schools.
