Teaching and Learning teams have launched several subject-specific social media challenges to encourage students, families, and staff members to find lessons in the world around us.


Identify different types of angles or shapes in nature. Write out math problems in chalk on the sidewalk. Show us pictures of how you’re practicing math at home by using the hashtag #MathOutside.

Get active every day! Participate in the Physical Education Marathon Challenge by walking, running, biking, or rolling one mile every day. The Boston Marathon was originally scheduled for April 20 and the Physical Education Department is challenging students, families, and staff members to complete 26.2 cumulative miles by April 20. Use the hashtag #PBCPERocks in your pictures
