The application window to apply for the School District’s 300+ Choice and Career programs for the 2020-2021 school year is now open.

The deadline to apply to a performing arts program is Friday, December 18. This includes all programs at Bak Middle School of the Arts, Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, The Conservatory School @ North Palm Beach grades six through eight, the arts programs at Boynton Beach Community High School, and performing arts at West Boca Community High School. Students will be contacted directly to schedule their auditions. The deadline to apply for all other programs is Friday, January 29, 2021.

This year, there are nine new programs including business leadership at Addison Mizner K-8, dance, digital graphic design, multimedia and television production and theater at Plumosa School of the Arts, Cambridge Academy at Verde K-8, agritechnology and computer science at Glades Central High School, and cybersecurity at Santaluces Community HIgh School. Grove Park Elementary is also now an IB World School with a S.T.E.M. Focus.

Families are encouraged to explore opportunities at the 179 District-operated schools, and also keep in mind that the best opportunity for a child may be at their home school. This year’s Showcase of Schools is virtual and families can explore the options from the comfort and safety of their home by clicking here.
