One community partnership is powering up science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education at Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary in Riviera Beach. The school recently received a $50,000 Classroom Makeover Grant from Florida Power & Light (FPL), one of five schools in the state to receive the award. The grant will be used to provide computers, robot lab packs, aerodynamics sets, and renewable energy education kits.
