PREPaRE

The PREPaRE curriculum was developed by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) as part of NASP's decade-long leadership in providing evidence-based resources and consultation related to school crisis prevention and response. PREPaRE training is ideal for schools committed to improving and strengthening their school safety and crisis management plans and emergency response.

PREPaRE specifically trains school mental health teams in evaluating the potential trauma risk of students and staff following a crisis event that affects a school community, identifying individuals in need of directed mental health interventions, providing mental health interventions, and evaluating outcomes of crisis response efforts. Our District is committed to providing certification training for all School Psychologists, School Behavioral Health Professionals, School Counselors, and CAPE Team members.
