Deputy Superintendent and Chief of Schools

As Deputy Superintendent and Chief of Schools, Mr. Tierney assists the Superintendent in all activities designated by the Superintendent, works closely with the Superintendent as a strategic partner, and assists in providing administrative coordination and supervision of work and personnel of all schools and academic departments. Mr. Tierney ensures that quality academic programming and initiatives are offered to all students as part of the mission to increase academic achievement, graduation rates, and follow through on the District’s Strategic Plan long-term outcome of post-graduate success.
