Ways to File a Complaint

As directed by School Board Policy 1.092.5.d and the authority of the School District Superintendent, CARES provides a centralized, uniform clearinghouse for the receipt, assessment, referral, and tracking of misconduct complaints received by the SDPBC.

There are three (3) ways to file a complaint available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

  1. Online
    Go to Ethical Advocate's website, https://pbcsd.ethicaladvocate.com, and create an account to submit a complaint. Ethical Advocate is completely independent of the School District. For technical support please email support@ethadv.com.
     
  2. Email
    Send an email to cares@palmbeachschools.org.
     
  3. Phone 
    Call Toll-Free (855) 561-1010. For questions, call (561) 434-7342.

In response to an amended Florida Statute, complaints alleging a violation of Board Policy 3.02 (Code of Ethics) can no longer be submitted anonymously. Complaints alleging Code of Ethics violations are now required to be written and signed under oath or affirmation and must be based upon personal knowledge. See FAQ for further information
