Purpose and Functions

The Division of Performance Accountability (DPA) is comprised of three departments; Assessment, Research and Evaluation, and Educational Technology. The purpose of DPA is to provide leadership and supervision of federal and state accountability, state and local district assessment programs, district research activities and program evaluation efforts, leading and lagging indicator reporting systems through the Educational Data Warehouse and the development and reporting of student performance systems for teacher evaluations. In addition, DPA provides vision and strategic support for the implementation of educational technology to support teaching and learning. Finally, DPA provides comprehensive, easily understood reports and effective presentations to various staffs throughout the District, the School Board, and various stakeholders throughout the community.
