School bus stops, routes and pick up and drop off times are now available using the Find My Bus feature on the School District’s website.
Families can also call the Transportation Call Center to get information on bus routes, stops and times. The Transportation Call center is open through August 11 from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 561-357-1110.
The Transportation Call Center will also be open Saturday, August 12 and Sunday, August 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Starting August 14, the Transportation Call Center is open on school days, Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Call Center representatives can answer questions in English, Spanish and Kreyol.
Parents should practice walking to the bus stop with their children and are encouraged to let their children ride the bus the first few days of school to become familiar with the routes, finding their bus after school and the bus stops.
Seventy-eight new buses have been added to the fleet this year thanks to funds from the penny sales tax approved by voters in November. All buses on regular routes are equipped with air condition, seatbelts, cameras and alarms.
School bus transportation is provided to students who reside outside more than two miles from their school. Students who are attending a Choice or Career Academy program or who applied for Controlled Open Enrollment to a school outside of their home school zone may not be eligible for transportation.
This year, after-school activity buses will run Monday through Thursday. Friday schedules are scheduled on a school-by-school basis. Please contact the school directly for after school activity bus schedules.
