“Our adult education programs are designed to improve the employability of our county residents by helping them continue on to post-secondary education, earn an industry certification, or learn English”, said Fred Barch, Director of the Department of Adult & Community Education.

Available programs include English For Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Citizenship Classes, General Education Development (GED) classes, and Pre-Apprenticeship Programs. A variety of Fun and Leisure Classes are also available.

All told, the District expects to serve more than 30,000 adult students this school year. Classes for fall 2017 run from August 28 through December 15.
