Internationally known artist Shepard Fairey spent six hours with three assistants on the campus of Jupiter High School last week creating his latest masterpiece.
Fairney’s mural is a rendering of Perry Cohen, who along with his friend Austin, was lost at sea two years ago.
The mural stands outside of the Perry J. Cohen Wetland Laboratory at Jupiter High School. The wetland is named for Cohen who had planned on attending the school’s marine biology program before his disappearance.
The mural was donated by Fairey who says that he hopes the mural will “inspire people to look deeper.”
