Every child in elementary school in Palm Beach County will receive a free book this month courtesy of the “Happily Ever After Begins with Reading” campaign of Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County. The book distribution is designed to encourage summer reading, with students receiving some of the most popular titles in children’s literature today. Since 2013, Children’s Services Council has provided more than 700,000 books to Palm Beach County elementary school students.
To highlight the importance of summer reading, Children’s Services Council hosted a special event on Tuesday, May 15 at Forest Hill Elementary. The event featured an appearance by a very special guest – Clifford the Big Red Dog!
