District’s Annual College and Career Fair Set for Oct. 17

GraduationThe School District of Palm Beach County is inviting students and families to join representatives from more than 150 colleges, universities, trade schools and the armed forces at its Annual College and Career Fair Wednesday, October 17 from 6 to 8 p.m.

“This annual event is a great way for high school students to explore their many post-graduate options, and maybe learn about a college or career path that they may not yet have considered,” said Eunice Vivar, high school counseling program planner for the District.

New this year, there will be a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and Financial Aid session to help families understand the process for applying for and receiving financial aid for college.

The Fair will be held at the South Florida Fairgrounds Expo Center East at 9067 Southern Blvd. in West Palm Beach. Parking is free.
