District Students Celebrate the Season at Leadership PBC Annual Holiday Breakfast Event

District Students Celebrate the Season at Leadership PBC Annual Holiday Breakfast Event

On December 5, students from four School District music programs were invited to perform at the Leadership Palm Beach County Annual Holiday Breakfast. For many, this was their first opportunity to perform in nearly two years, following previous pandemic-related event cancellations.

The performances were coordinated by the Middle School of the Arts Foundation (MSOA), a longtime District business partner. The students performing included the Palm Beach Public Chamber Orchestra, A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jazz Combo, the Bak Middle School of the Arts Advanced Girls Chorus, and Forest Hill High School’s Dimension 20.

Leadership Palm Beach County brings together leaders from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to build a vibrant, interconnected community. They collaborate with the District in many ways, most recently through their Engage Program, that held its Education Day event on December 8, co-chaired by District 4 board member Erica Whitfield.

These collaborative partnerships with the Middle School of the Arts Foundation and Leadership Palm Beach County are an essential aspect of the Partners in Education Program. They not only provide opportunities for students attending Palm Beach County District schools, but they also help educate and enlighten the community about the District.
