The School District’s Summer VPK program provides preschool children with high quality, fun academic experiences that prepare them to successfully enter kindergarten. Each class of no more than 12 children is taught by a certified teacher. Teachers use the DLM Early Childhood Express curriculum, which is supported by ongoing child progress monitoring tools to ensure students master the Florida VPK Early Learning and Developmental Standards Birth to Kindergarten (2017).
